TopFX gold trading bot: run GoldBot Air on TopFX MT5
GoldBot Air is an automated XAUUSD Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. This guide shows how to run it on a TopFX account, what to check first, and how to get your licence.
Does GoldBot Air work with TopFX?
Yes. GoldBot Air runs on any MetaTrader 5 account that offers XAUUSD (gold), so it works on TopFX as long as your account is on MT5. Check in your TopFX client area that the account you open is a MetaTrader 5 account.

How to set it up on TopFX
- Open or log in to a TopFX MT5 account. A Raw, ECN or zero-spread account usually has the lowest gold costs.
- Install MetaTrader 5 from your TopFX client area or our download page, and log in with your account number and the server shown by TopFX.
- Find gold in Market Watch. On TopFX it is XAUUSD or XAUUSD with a suffix (for example .m, .c or #). Use the one your account trades.
- Get your licence. Create a free GoldBot account and take the free 5-day demo key for your TopFX MT5 account number; your key appears in My Licence and runs every GoldBot EA.
- Attach the EA. Copy GoldBot Air (and its presets) into MQL5, turn on Algo Trading, drag it onto one gold chart, load a preset and paste your key.
- Keep it running. Use a Windows VPS close to TopFX's trading server so the EA runs through the London session.

Do I need a VPS to run the EA on TopFX?
